It’s happening again. I can't believe I've done this once more/again. I just had a quick trip/run/dash to the store/mailbox/bathroom and now I'm stranded/locked out/trapped outside. My phone’s dead/low on battery/missing, so calling a locksmith isn’t an option/possible/feasible. I tried all my usual tricks/hiding spots/spare keys, but nothing is working/helping/available. Now I'm just sitting here/staring at the door/feeling helpless and wondering what to do/try next/think. This is seriously frustrating.

My stomach sank as I stared at the sealed car door. Moments ago/Just a few minutes ago/It seemed like forever ago, I was happily fiddling with my keys/jamming out to music/driving along and now, here I am, completely stranded/out of luck/in a terrible predicament. The heat of the sun was relentless, and every passing car felt like a mocking reminder/cruel joke/visual insult of my situation.

Worst Day Ever: Locked Out Of My House AND My Car!
Well, today was just about the absolute worst day ever. I woke up feeling good/okay/like crap, made myself some coffee/tea/breakfast cereal, and got ready for the day. But then, as I tried to leave/was walking out the door/got to my car, it hit me: I was locked out of my house! The keys had vanished into thin air. I checked every single place I could think of, but no luck. Feeling panicked/stressed/defeated, I tried calling a locksmith, but they wouldn't be available/here for hours/able to come out until later.
So there I was, standing on my porch, feeling like an idiot. To make matters even worse/more terrible/absolutely awful, as I walked around the house looking for another way in, I realized that I had also locked myself out of my car! It seems like everything that could go wrong did go wrong
Just when things couldn't get any worse/about the time I thought it couldn't get more frustrating, a neighbor came walking by and saw me looking around frantically. They were kind enough to lend me a phone so I could call my parents, who thankfully were able to come over and let me into the house. Phew!
